Evaluation activity 4- Target audience

The target audience for our film is males between 15 and 35. This is because the rating for the film would be 15 as it contains violent and graphic content that would be considered inappropriate for younger audiences but is not too graphic so we don't cut off the lower range of our target audience by making it an 18.


This is targeted at the male demographic as is contains many male characters being very 'macho' and no female characters, which would attract a female audience if the female character was in a leading role against men. There is also violent and graphic scenes that the male demographic is attracted to, especially the teenage range of our target audience.

Due to the violent nature of the film and the macho characters, males aged 11 to 14 would also be attracted to the film, even though they cannot watch it in the Cinema . This is because Younger teen males they are attracted to characters that, at their age, think are the perfect man- strong action star. They want to see examples that thy can follow and aspire to be.
